This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for hospitality, and is committed to delivering quality service.
The individual hired for this Support role will take on responsibilities such as running food from the kitchen to tables and the bar, cleaning and resetting tables, restocking supplies, and maintaining organization within the service area. They will work closely under the guidance of Front of House (FOH) managers and collaborate effectively with team members and guests to contribute to a welcoming and efficient dining experience. The position demands flexibility, as employees must be willing and able to work both opening and closing shifts, including weekends.
Ideal candidates for this role will be outgoing, energetic, polite, and patient, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction. They must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively within a team. Prior experience in the hospitality industry is highly valued, as is having good judgment and an adaptive attitude to handle the various challenges of a fast-moving food and beverage environment.
Physically, the Support role requires standing for the entire shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, working in environments with loud noises, and being able to perform tasks that include reaching, bending, stooping, and carrying. The position also requires adaptability to both indoor and outdoor settings, and potential exposure to common food allergens like peanuts, dairy, gluten, and seafood. Safety and accommodation for disabilities are taken seriously, with reasonable adjustments provided to enable all team members to perform their job functions effectively.
Bottleneck Management adheres strictly to equal employment opportunity laws. It promotes a workplace free from discrimination and harassment, emphasizing respect and diversity for all employees and applicants regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or other protected characteristics.
