The Supply Network Planner role at Rich's is a critical position within the Supply Chain segment based in Buffalo, NY. This hybrid role involves taking end-to-end ownership of supply planning activities across assigned manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and product categories. The successful candidate will develop integrated supply plans that effectively balance customer service, manufacturing efficiency, inventory investment, working capital, and business growth objectives. A Supply Network Planner at Rich's works closely with cross-functional teams including Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Commercial units to lead the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. This individual evaluates supply risks and opportunities and implements strategies that optimize network performance while utilizing advanced analytics, planning systems, and emerging technologies such as AI-enabled decision support tools to enhance inventory health, service levels, capacity utilization, and overall supply chain efficiency.

The role involves providing strategic leadership and coaching to planners and schedulers across the organization, ensuring alignment between production schedules and supply plans. The Supply Network Planner is tasked with developing rolling month supply, inventory, and capacity plans while facilitating resolution of supply-demand imbalances through teamwork and collaboration. Additional duties include scenario planning for growth initiatives and network changes, managing finished goods inventory strategies, partnering with material buyers and schedulers on inventory goals, and driving continuous improvement in supply chain processes. This position also plays a key role in managing safety stock strategies, replenishment parameters, and scheduling policies that support operational stability and efficiency. Proficiency in ERP, APS, Power BI, and advanced analytics tools is essential, with a strong preference for candidates experienced with AI and machine learning technologies to enhance planning quality.
