The Aeronautics Systems Global Supply Chain organization at Northrop Grumman is committed to being a world-class supply chain team known for agility, competitiveness, and customer value. Located in Palmdale, CA, the role of Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 1 is an essential position supporting the Palmdale Machine Center and the Global Supply Chain. This in-office role operates on a first shift 4/10 schedule from Monday to Thursday. The position demands a self-motivated problem solver with strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including SAP and MES systems, and a solid understanding of manufacturing procedures and technical requirements. Primary responsibilities include supporting multiple supply chain disciplines, processing advanced fabrication requests, managing raw materials and parts, and collaborating with program project management, procurement specialists, and suppliers. This role involves coordinating daily tasks such as advanced purchase requests, transportation requests, make and buy goods issues and receipts, material verification, and packaging for onsite and offsite locations. The position requires physical capability to lift materials and a valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one, with forklift certification expected. It provides an opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking aerospace manufacturing efforts while working alongside skilled teams focused on quality and efficiency. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to obtain forklift certification
- ability to lift 25 lbs and walk or stand for extended periods of time
- valid driver's license or ability to obtain one
- ability to obtain or maintain U.S. government secret clearance within a reasonable period of time after starting

- prior experience using a forklift, reach lift, or pallet jack preferred
- prior experience using SAP or MES preferred
- hazmat or chemical handling experience preferred

Job Duties
- Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the supply chain process
- loads, unloads, and conveys materials and parts to multiple work sites
- opens containers using hand tools
- counts and weighs materials and records information
- loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and machines by hand
- conveys materials using hand truck, forklift, or other devices
- stacks or assembles materials
- aids by lifting heavy objects by hand
- works closely with the integration team and shop floor
- delivers kits and chemicals and verifies quantities and part numbers
- wraps and packs kits to send to on and offsite locations
