The Supervisor is pivotal in maintaining operational standards, supervising frontline staff, assisting with employee training, and delivering consistent, high-quality guest experiences. The role also encompasses acting as a primary point of contact for team members' questions and guest concerns, upholding company policies and safety protocols, and helping to manage retail and exhibit areas effectively. This employment opportunity offers an hourly wage of $18.00 at the Titanic Charlotte location. The role is suited for individuals who possess strong leadership skills, enjoy fast-paced, guest-focused environments, and are motivated to contribute to an operationally efficient team. The ideal candidate is experienced in supervisory roles within hospitality, retail, or attractions, and has a knack for coaching and inspiring their teams to excel. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is a key aspect of the position. The Supervisor must be physically capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and able to stand or walk for extended periods, reflecting the hands-on nature of the job. This role not only focuses on meeting sales goals and maintaining a safe, organized work environment but also supports the execution of promotions, events, and operational initiatives, making it essential for the Supervisor to collaborate effectively with other managers and supervisors. Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of supervisory or team lead experience in retail, attractions, or hospitality preferred
  • prior experience in guest service or customer-facing roles required
  • experience handling cash, POS systems, and shift operations a plus
  • seasoned safety ambassador
  • background in team-based work environments preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • capable of lifting up to 25 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily operations on the floor to ensure smooth exhibit and retail activity
  • support the General Manager by assisting with staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring
  • ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • act as a first point of contact for guest questions, concerns, or escalations
  • lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and suggestive selling
  • assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reporting
  • monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking as needed
  • provide feedback and coaching to frontline staff to improve performance and engagement
  • communicate updates, goals, and expectations from management to the team
  • support the maintenance of a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • assist with implementing promotions, events, and other operational initiatives
