Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum three years experience as a Steward
- prior supervisory experience preferred
- must obtain and maintain all licenses and certifications per Federal, State, and Virginia Lottery regulations
- must successfully pass background check
- must successfully pass drug screening
- must be eighteen (18) years of age
- knowledge of pertinent federal, state and local laws, codes and regulations
- knowledge of all operations of the Stewards' Department
- demonstrated organizational skills, budgeting experience and full understanding of financials
- ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
- flexibility to work varying shifts and time schedules
- ability to deliver programs that create a service level of excellence for internal and external guests
- ability to tie training to the organization's strategic goals
- ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
- ability to review and comprehend all necessary documentation

Job Duties
- Create an atmosphere that induces guests to choose Hard Rock Bristol for gaming entertainment
- build and retain guest relations and mentor team members to provide superior guest service
- hire, train, motivate, evaluate and manage food and beverage staff to achieve department objectives
- develop, implement and monitor department standards, guidelines and objectives
- maintain cleanliness of back of the house areas including kitchen, storage, dumpster, loading dock, TDR and washing areas
- manage cleaning schedules to meet or exceed health inspection requirements
- assist in maintaining inventory and distribution of china, glassware, linens and silver
- control equipment storage areas and issuance for the Food & Beverage Department
- attend and participate in meetings and complete follow-up as assigned
- perform work regularly and predictably
- other duties as assigned
