Job Description

BCD Meetings & Events (BCD M&E) is a globally recognized meetings and events agency headquartered in Chicago, with a presence in 60+ countries and a team of over 2,000 dedicated professionals. Known for its trusted and innovative approach, BCD M&E specializes in connecting people through meetings and events that inspire, motivate, and drive business success. The company values a strong culture centered around people, passion, and purpose, fostering an environment where employees can bring their unique perspectives and rise to high standards. Emphasizing sustainability and client success, BCD M&E offers a workplace where empathy, community, and flexible work arrangements are part of the everyday experience. Employees benefit from opportunities for growth, supportive leadership, comprehensive healthcare, and involvement in meaningful work that has tangible impact.

The role available at BCD M&E is for a Supervisor on The Collective's Registration Solutions team. This hybrid position, based in Chicago with opportunities for virtual candidates, combines leadership and hands-on registration management in a fast-paced and creative environment. The Supervisor will lead a team, supporting the execution of multiple complex registration programs from start to finish, ensuring smooth project flow, high service standards, and positive client experiences. This role demands a collaborative leader who thrives in deadline-driven settings, is adept at using technology tools like Cvent and Excel for precise online registration management, and who communicates effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams even under shifting priorities. This position is well-suited for someone who enjoys mentoring team members, providing feedback, and fostering growth while delivering results.

Candidates will likely have experience managing large-scale events, including multi-hotel and multi-manager projects, with some onsite experience and the ability to troubleshoot registration challenges in real time. A background in hotel operations, meeting planning, registration, or event logistics supports success in this role. The company prefers candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Planning, or a related field, though relevant experience is equally valued. The role’s travel requirements are less than 25%, and salary ranges between $70,000-$75,000 annually, dependent on skills, experience, and location.

BCD M&E offers a culture of ownership, continuous development, and respect for every voice. Employees enjoy flexible working arrangements, career mobility within the global company, volunteer opportunities, travel and hotel discounts, and a supportive leadership team promoting positive work environments. This role offers the chance to impact events globally, collaborate creatively, and contribute to a company committed to sustainability and excellence in meetings and events.
