Job Requirements
- Graduate of an approved nursing program
- Valid State of California Registered Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 3 years of relevant healthcare experience
- Experience in case management
- Ability to mentor and train interdisciplinary staff
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved nursing program
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in healthcare
- Experience in Case Management
- Proven ability in mentorship, education, and training to interdisciplinary staff
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in an acute care hospital preferred
- Current State of California Registered Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by AHA
- Accredited Case Management Certification (ACMA) preferred
Job Duties
- Assist the Manager in planning, organizing, and directing case management services
- Supervise RN Case Managers within the Case Management/Social Work Department
- Manage day-to-day patient care operations and provide team support
- Handle conflict management, negotiation, and team building
- Administer budget and mentor others
- Direct patient assignments, staff scheduling, and evaluations
- Oversee patient flow and assist in meeting financial targets by managing utilization, productivity, personnel, and supplies
