Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in nursing preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
  • Previous lead or supervisor experience preferred
  • Previous healthcare management experience preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support certification required
  • Active RN license in state of employment or compact state required

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in nursing preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
  • Previous lead or supervisor experience overseeing nursing units preferred
  • Previous healthcare management experience preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Active RN license in state of employment or compact state

Job Duties

  • Implementing and monitoring programs and practices for the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care for patients and their families
  • Ensuring consistent application of nursing services policies and standards throughout the organization
  • Monitoring patient outcomes and quality and effectiveness of nursing care
  • Overseeing the performance of nursing teams
  • Identifying and addressing staff training and development needs
  • Assisting the Director in analyzing, planning, and evaluating nursing programs
  • Participating in the development and implementation of service line strategic business plans
