The RN Supervisor role at CHRISTUS Health is a dynamic and pivotal position responsible for overseeing the nursing department's daily operations on a 24-hour basis. This supervisory role ensures the delivery of superior, safe, and cost-effective nursing care to patients. The RN Supervisor is integral to assisting the Director in analyzing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating processes and programs that enhance and integrate nursing services. This position demands leadership in coordinating and collaborating with clinical and ancillary departments to meet organizational goals, quality standards, safety measures, and community healthcare values.
In this role, the RN Supervisor will actively participate in developing and implementing the service line’s strategic business plans. The position requires a focus on operational, financial, and clinical components to continuously improve the nursing department's performance. As a leader, the RN Supervisor embodies the OneCHRISTUS competencies including Leader of Self, Leader of Others, and Leader of Leaders, and ensures consistent application of nursing policies, standards, and quality care practices across the organization.
The RN Supervisor is also responsible for overseeing team performance, identifying staff development needs, and fostering an environment that promotes staff satisfaction and professional growth. They provide critical feedback on customer satisfaction and associate performance while managing human and financial resources to meet and exceed productivity and quality expectations. This role requires a dedicated and compassionate individual ready to make a significant difference in patient care and nursing excellence at CHRISTUS Health. The position is full-time with multiple shift opportunities available and requires relocation for successful candidates. The supervisor must hold an RN license valid within the state of employment or a compact license and have at least two years of clinical patient care experience along with supervisory experience preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required to meet the organization’s healthcare standards.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- Two years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
- Previous lead or supervisor experience preferred
