The RN Supervisor role at CHRISTUS Health is a vital leadership position accountable for overseeing the delivery of superior nursing care that aligns with both clinical standards and operational goals. The role is responsible for managing nursing activities of assigned units on a 24-hour basis, overseeing the performance of clinical teams, and ensuring that services meet established quality and productivity standards.

In collaboration with other clinical and ancillary departments, the RN Supervisor ensures the nursing department meets organizational goals centered around Quality and Safety Measures, Community Values, Business Literacy, and Service Excellence. This role demands strong leadership skills to guide nursing professionals, promoting staff development and providing constructive feedback to enhance associate performance and satisfaction. The RN Supervisor is entrusted with the implementation and monitoring of nursing programs that guarantee safety, efficiency, and quality in patient care. This position also ensures consistent application of the organization's nursing policies and standards to maintain high standards of care.

Candidates for the RN Supervisor position should have foundational clinical experience, ideally backed by at least two years of patient care in relevant healthcare settings, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is highly desirable, alongside required licensure as a Registered Nurse and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. The role offers full-time employment with multiple shifts available, reflecting the around-the-clock nature of healthcare delivery.
