The role of the RN Supervisor at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective nursing care within the assigned department. This full-time position demands a dynamic and dedicated professional who can assist the Nursing Director in analyzing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating clinical processes and programs that enhance and integrate nursing services. The RN Supervisor's primary responsibility is to ensure effective supervision and coordination of nursing activities across the assigned areas, providing direct leadership to nursing teams on a 24-hour basis. The role requires active collaboration with other clinical and ancillary departments to ensure that the hospital meets and exceeds organizational quality and safety standards, service excellence goals, and community values.

This leadership role is focused on maintaining operational, financial, and clinical excellence within the nursing department. The RN Supervisor plays a crucial role in resource management, ensuring that staffing levels and financial expenditures align with the hospital's quality and productivity standards. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
  • 2 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
  • Previous lead or supervisor experience overseeing work of assigned units preferred
  • Previous healthcare management experience preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • RN license in state of employment or compact required
