As a Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, you will play a crucial role in delivering memorable vacation experiences to Owners and guests. This full-time position requires working on holidays and weekends, demonstrating flexibility and commitment. Job Requirements
- Availability to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 25lbs without assistance
- Valid US driver's license
- Willingness to undergo background and drug screening
- Commitment to following company policies and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in food and beverage or hospitality supervision
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to train and develop staff
- Knowledge of inventory management and FIFO principles
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- US driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Inspect storage areas for organization, use of First In First Out (FIFO), and cleanliness and rectify any deficiencies
- Complete inventories of supplies, food, and liquor, check stock, and requisition necessary supplies
- Lead shifts and supervise associates as scheduled
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests
- Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests
- Ensure associates are trained in company core values, job roles, responsibilities, and technical and service aspects of the job
- Collaborate with management to formally recognize hourly associates' performance contributions
- Assist in hourly duties as needed to ensure proper coverage and guest satisfaction
- Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs
- Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
- Contribute to team goals
- Always follow company policies and safety procedures
