As a Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, you will play a crucial role in delivering memorable vacation experiences to Owners and guests. This full-time position requires working on holidays and weekends, demonstrating flexibility and commitment. The role involves supervising shifts, leading associates, and ensuring guests receive excellence in service, safety, and hospitality. You will oversee daily operational activities such as inventory management, cleanliness inspections, food and beverage requisitioning, and adherence to industry standards including the First In First Out (FIFO) method for food storage. Collaboration across departments is essential to optimize guest service and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Availability to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 25lbs without assistance
  • Valid US driver's license
  • Willingness to undergo background and drug screening
  • Commitment to following company policies and safety procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food and beverage or hospitality supervision
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to train and develop staff
  • Knowledge of inventory management and FIFO principles
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • US driver's license
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Inspect storage areas for organization, use of First In First Out (FIFO), and cleanliness and rectify any deficiencies
  • Complete inventories of supplies, food, and liquor, check stock, and requisition necessary supplies
  • Lead shifts and supervise associates as scheduled
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests
  • Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests
  • Ensure associates are trained in company core values, job roles, responsibilities, and technical and service aspects of the job
  • Collaborate with management to formally recognize hourly associates' performance contributions
  • Assist in hourly duties as needed to ensure proper coverage and guest satisfaction
  • Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs
  • Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
  • Contribute to team goals
  • Always follow company policies and safety procedures
