Job Description
Performance Team is a leading logistics and supply chain company renowned for its dedication to fostering a culture of honesty and integrity. Our commitment to these core values allows us to build strong trust with both our customers and employees, creating a supportive, reliable environment. We believe that our focus on people sets us apart within the industry and is the primary reason our customers continue to choose us for their warehousing and distribution needs. We consider our company a family, welcoming individuals who want to be part of a collaborative and inclusive team that values diversity and embraces different ways of thinking.
Our warehousing and distribution operations encompass an end-to-end logistics network that includes strategically located storage facilities. These facilities are designed to handle the entire process flow — receiving, storing, processing, and dispatching cargo efficiently. This integrated approach enables us to build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain, mitigating risks and ensuring continuity despite unexpected conditions. Our extensive expertise across various industries and transportation modes empowers us to deliver excellent process management, saving both time and money for our clients.
The available role is for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor working the second shift from Sunday to Wednesday, 5 pm to 3:30 am. This position plays a critical role in overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of warehouse workers who manage ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment. The Warehouse Operations Supervisor ensures that all operational procedures are followed, employees are effectively scheduled and supervised, and productivity targets and customer metrics are met consistently.
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for staffing decisions based on workload, assigning specific duties, tracking individual and departmental performance, and maintaining inventory accuracy in collaboration with Inventory Control. Additionally, you will manage departmental payroll, resolve discrepancies in stock records, and enforce safety regulations while fostering a positive work environment. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, appraising, rewarding, disciplining employees, and resolving grievances in alignment with company policies and applicable laws.
To be successful in this role, candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and possess some related experience or training, typically one to three months or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position offers an anticipated starting salary range from $65,000 to $70,304, which may be adjusted based on market conditions and other factors such as location. Our compensation package is complemented by comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision coverage, a 401k plan with company matching, an employee assistance program, paid time off, flexible work schedules when possible, and other perks.
Performance Team is committed to maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace. We welcome applicants regardless of race, color, gender, sex, age, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, disability status, or any other legally protected characteristic. Our hiring practices align with equal opportunity principles, and we consider qualified candidates with criminal histories in compliance with the law. If you require any accommodations during the application or hiring process, we encourage you to reach out to us so we can provide the necessary support.
