This institution is celebrated for its commitment to high reliability and quality healthcare outcomes, supported by cutting-edge medical imaging technology. Such technology includes 3T MRI, low-dose CT, advanced ultrasound modalities, digital radiography, and sophisticated PACS/RIS platforms enhanced with analytics. This forward-thinking hospital continually invests in technology upgrades, staff training, and patient-centered initiatives, making it an ideal place for professionals passionate about advancing diagnostic services.

As the Supervisor of Diagnostic Imaging Radiology, you will step into a fast-paced and influential role that combines advanced technological oversight with compassionate patient care. Your leadership will be central to ensuring the department operates efficiently and safely, maintaining the highest standards prescribed by accreditation bodies such as the American College of Radiology and The Joint Commission. In this role, you will lead a cohesive team made up of ARRT-credentialed technologists, nurses, radiologists, physicists, and allied health professionals. Your goal will be to optimize workflow throughput, uphold quality assurance protocols, enforce radiation safety adhering to ALARA principles, and foster an environment of respect, mentorship, and teamwork.

Reporting directly to the Director of Imaging Services, you will also work closely with the Medical Director of Radiology and other key hospital leadership personnel, ensuring strong interdepartmental collaboration. You will manage all daily operations of the imaging department, from staffing and scheduling to budgeting and cross-departmental coordination with critical areas such as the Emergency Department, Operating Room, and inpatient units. The role requires a strategic mindset and adept organizational skills to maintain the department’s readiness for accreditation surveys and ongoing compliance.

The region is known for its stunning redwood forests, picturesque coastline, and vineyard-lined hills, offering endless outdoor recreational opportunities such as hiking, cycling, and kayaking. The cultural scene is vibrant with outdoor concerts, art walks, farm-to-table culinary experiences, craft breweries, and celebrated wineries. Residents benefit from a Mediterranean climate characterized by mild weather year-round. Family-friendly neighborhoods, access to major cultural and technology hubs, and proximity to renowned attractions all contribute to an outstanding quality of life.

This supervisory role offers a competitive salary of up to $220,000, reflecting the importance and demands of the position. Additionally, a full suite of benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and support for professional development accompanies compensation. Candidates will join a forward-looking hospital system dedicated to continuous improvement, staff empowerment, and patient-centered excellence.
