Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in nutrition, hospitality, or related field required
- Minimum two years of experience in food service environment required
- Minimum one year supervisory experience in healthcare environment preferred
- Current ServSafe certificate required
- Current driver's license required upon hire
- Ability to use computer and troubleshoot office equipment
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Able to distinguish colors and hear sufficiently for conversation and workplace sounds
- Able to see adequately to read screens and written documents
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nutrition, hospitality, or related field preferred
- Experience in food service environment
- Supervisory experience in healthcare preferred
- Knowledge of inventory control
- Proficiency in computer software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple assignments effectively
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Supervise employees in cafeteria, production, patient meal service, tray line, dish room, catering, and diet offices as appropriate
- Assure food production and service operations comply with LLUH policies and procedures
- Monitor timeliness and accuracy of menu selections and quality of food
- Ensure sanitation and safety procedures are followed in all Nutritional Services areas
- Provide supervision to maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Assist with employee performance evaluations and human resource functions
- Manage time and attendance and staff scheduling
