Known for adhering strictly to contract specifications and industry standards, Chimes DC emphasizes quality control, safety, and customer satisfaction in all its operations. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $25.93 USD per hour with a shift schedule from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, accommodating those seeking stable daytime hours within a professional work environment.

The Custodial Supervisor role at Chimes DC is vital to ensuring cleanliness and operational efficiency across assigned facilities. This leadership position involves overseeing custodial staff and lead workers, coordinating cleaning schedules, and maintaining adherence to both company directives and contract-specific requirements. The supervisor will be responsible for training new employees, mentoring custodians, managing supplies and equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards and CPR/First Aid training. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills, respect for diversity, and the ability to make critical decisions that improve service quality and staff performance. The position requires a balance of hands-on cleaning duties and supervisory responsibilities such as evaluating staff performance, addressing disciplinary matters, and responding promptly to operational changes or emergencies. Flexibility and dedication to quality service are highly valued as the supervisor must adapt to changing contract provisions and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Being an essential personnel designation, the role may require continued presence during institutional emergencies, highlighting the importance of reliability and commitment.

Chimes DC also fosters ongoing professional development through scheduled training programs and encourages a collaborative workplace culture. Supervisors are supported to use technology effectively for scheduling, reporting, and communication. The organization provides a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees working more than 30 hours per week, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; flexible spending accounts; life and disability insurance; paid time off; retirement plans with company matching; and employee recognition programs. The role also offers a transportation subsidy and referral bonuses, among other benefits, illustrating Chimes DC's commitment to employee well-being and satisfaction.

This position is ideal for candidates with at least two years of recent supervisory experience in building service operations, a strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates with CPR/First Aid certification and a valid driver’s license meeting company standards will find this opportunity particularly fitting.
