Key functions include overseeing the replenishment and maintenance of medical supplies to supply carts across all departments, including surgical areas. The supervisor is responsible for managing personnel, both direct and indirect reports, ensuring that staff are properly scheduled, trained, and compliant with safety procedures and hospital policies. The role demands proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Access to prepare reports and analyze data for inventory control and financial management. The Supervisor will collaborate regularly with department directors and managers to optimize supply availability, inventory turnover, and customer service levels.
Additionally, the Supervisor manages courier and postal services, including pickups, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance, to ensure timely and secure transport of goods and records.
