With partnerships including more than 3,500 world-class venues, the company provides essential services that millions of travelers and visitors rely on each year. Its product portfolio features luggage carts, smart locker systems, mobility rentals such as electric convenience vehicles (ECVs), wheelchairs, and strollers, as well as massage chairs, medallion collectibles, and other guest and passenger service offerings designed to enhance the overall customer experience.
The company is currently seeking full-time Supervisors to join their team at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), with shifts scheduled between 5:30 pm and 2:00 am, including weekends. These roles offer an hourly wage ranging from $27 to $28 and multiple positions are available. The Supervisor position is essential for ensuring operational excellence within the passenger terminal areas by leading and coordinating frontline labor related to service, maintenance, collections, and communication. The Supervisor acts as both a leader and an active participant, engaging directly in tasks such as cart collection and transportation, customer service, light cleaning duties, and cash collection processes.
The ideal candidates are motivated individuals with leadership skills who possess a strong commitment to maintaining high-quality service and safety standards. Supervisors are expected to manage staffing schedules, assign duties effectively to handle fluctuating workloads, and maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety procedures and monitoring equipment conditions. This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide outstanding customer service and sustain productive collaboration with colleagues, airport facility management, airline officials, and security agencies such as TSA, Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the FBI.
Additionally, Smarte Carte Inc. values employees who demonstrate a positive "Can Do" attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and grow within the company. Supervisors will play a critical role in assessing staff training needs and providing or facilitating appropriate instruction to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction. Technological proficiency with computer and smartphone-based reporting tools is also essential for monitoring performance metrics, analyzing data, and contributing to continuous operational improvements.
Smarte Carte offers a competitive benefits package which includes group health and dental insurance, company-paid life insurance, short-term disability coverage, matching 401(k) plans, paid time off, paid holidays, and a wellness reimbursement program. The company fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace environment encouraging applicants of all genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds to apply. In line with its commitment to environmental responsibility, Smarte Carte operates recyclable equipment and implements initiatives to reduce its carbon footprint.
For candidates seeking a dynamic supervisory role with flexible scheduling, robust pay, excellent benefits, and opportunities for career development, the Supervisor position at Smarte Carte Inc. represents a rewarding and growth-oriented career choice. The role demands physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds, push and pull up to 75 pounds, and stand or walk for the duration of the shift. Required education includes a high school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by preferred previous supervisory experience and cash control knowledge. Airport badge and valid driver’s license are mandatory certifications to begin employment. Smarte Carte is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all applicable federal and state employment laws, including giving qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records fair consideration under the LA County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act.
