Job Description

This particular role is a hybrid position located in Lewisville, TX, requiring candidates to work in the office three days per week and remotely two days per week. Candidates should be able to commute to the Lewisville office as part of their routine. The position is focused on inside sales supervision within WM’s customer retention division. Specifically, the candidate will supervise the Inside Account Executive I team, which is responsible for proactive maintenance and revenue growth of Waste Management’s small and medium business customers by managing an account retention program within a defined book of business.
The Inside Sales Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring team members meet retention goals, support sales growth, and maintain high customer satisfaction. The supervisor will design and implement sales and retention process improvements, coaching protocols, and training regimens that help account executives thrive. They will handle escalated customer issues, monitor performance metrics such as cancellations and new sales, and ensure effective use of WM sales tools like Salesforce and pricing software. The role also involves recruiting and developing talent, maintaining proactive retention strategies, and working closely with management to align with corporate sales strategies and pricing goals.
Strong leadership skills are required to manage a diverse team of up to 9 professionals, including sales coordinators and account executives. The role demands the ability to analyze business trends, provide guidance on regulatory issues, and maintain direct communication with key client executives to exceed expectations. Candidates are expected to have a Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, along with five years of relevant experience. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- work with area to establish and or refine sales and retention processes
- establish and or refine coaching and training protocol
- assist in the implementation and ongoing development of the account retention team
- generate revenue by retaining existing customers and executing the area sales and marketing plan
- maintain and reinforce the corporate sales strategy and design with the retention team
- handle any escalated customer calls
- establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction on all transactions with existing customers
