The role available at Benchmark involves assigning and coordinating activities of workers engaged in assembling, testing, and inspecting assemblies and subassemblies. This position plays a crucial leadership part in ensuring production lines meet delivery deadlines efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. As a team lead or supervisor, the successful candidate will analyze production schedules, assign jobs based on priority and worker skillsets, and evaluate employee performance. This role demands strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing production demands, facilitating smooth operations and driving workforce efficiency.

In addition to overseeing daily production activities, the role requires implementing company policies and procedures, reviewing work orders and product specifications, and managing requisitions for tools, equipment, and supplies important to the section’s function. Keeping accurate records such as operations data on yield, scrap, and maintenance costs forms part of the responsibility to support continuous improvement efforts and operational excellence.

Benchmark values excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective interpersonal and multitasking abilities, and a high attention to detail. The position supports a 24/7 global business operation, requiring flexibility and demonstration of professionalism and discretion. The ideal candidate will have at least a four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with more than two years in electronics manufacturing and at least one year in a leadership capacity. Experience in contract manufacturing and knowledge of continuous improvement tools are highly preferred.

Located in Rochester, Minnesota, this full-time role works during shift 2 (Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM). The compensation range for this position is from $63,328 to $79,160 USD, considering factors such as skills, certifications, experience, and other business needs.
