Key duties include coordinating daily activities with key staff, enforcing safety protocols, conducting employee training, monitoring fiscal activities, and assisting government representatives during inspections. Job Requirements
- High school graduate or GED required
- Two years supervisory experience required
- Two years experience in facility operations required
- Computer literate
- Basic knowledge of various equipment used in accordance with the contracts PWS SOW
- Valid driver’s license with certificate of insurability
- Ability to pass drug screen
- WSC background check required
- Appropriate background check for contract such as NACI, TxDOT, DPS
- Ability to work in an operational setting exposed to extreme heat or cold, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and loud noise
- Ability to perform physical demands including sitting, talking, hearing, standing, walking, using hands, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work full-time, including occasional evenings and weekends
- Willingness to travel locally and out of area for conferences
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Two years supervisory experience
- Two years experience in facility operations
- Computer literate
- Basic knowledge of various equipment used in accordance with the contracts PWS SOW
- Associate’s Degree in Business Management preferred
- Experience driving one and half ton truck preferred
- Valid driver’s license with certificate of insurability (corporate auto policy)
- Ability to pass drug screen and background checks (including WSC, NACI, TxDOT, DPS)
Job Duties
- Ensures all requirements of the PWS SOW are met
- Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed, maintaining a clean and safe work area, ensuring all employees are trained as required
- Coordinates and plans daily activities with key staff
- Monitors activities on a continuous basis to ensure compliance with established quality control standards and operating procedures
- Monitors safety aspects relating to facility, equipment, and personnel
- taking corrective educational actions as required
- Schedules and performs training of staff as required by the PWS SOW, and WSC policies
- Ensures employees are knowledgeable of the requirements and application of the PWS, SOW, Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), and personnel policies as required
- Monitors fiscal activities and financial transactions for the facility
- Accompanies and assists government representatives during inspection or review of contract operations
- Ensures the highest level of customer service is consistently provided
