The role of the Housekeeping Supervisor at Bally’s is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping services for guest rooms, corridors, and service areas. This position requires strong operational management to ensure that all housekeeping activities meet Bally's rigorous quality standards. As a supervisor, you will assign tasks, manage workflow, and ensure timely completion of duties while maintaining inventory levels and coordinating with maintenance for repairs. The supervisor also handles guest complaints, conducts staff training and evaluations, and enforces safety and company policies. As an individual in this role, you will play a key role in motivating and developing the housekeeping team, fostering a safe, efficient, and guest-focused environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
  • 1 - 3 years of supervisory experience in hotel operations preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervises and ensures efficiency of the Guest Room Attendants and House Attendants
  • issues work assignments, keys, and monitors their work progress
  • ensures assigned floors, closet and carts are cleaned before end of shift
  • submits work orders for all maintenance issues
  • assists with monthly and quarterly inventories
  • investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment
  • responsible for all daily housekeeping services to guest rooms, corridors, and service elevator landings
  • responds to any guest request or complaint immediately
  • trains Guest Room Attendants as needed to correct deficiencies
  • inspects housekeeping floor closets in the morning ensuring linens and supplies are adequately stocked
  • ensures delivery of supplies, removal of soiled linen and trash, vacuuming and cleaning of guest areas
  • reports and inspects vacant/ready rooms daily
  • ensures completion of special projects such as deep cleaning
  • coordinates maintenance work and follows up on completion
  • ensures every guestroom is properly serviced before shift end
  • maintains orderly floor closets and secured carts
  • manages key card accountability
  • returns guest items to lost and found
  • reports unusual occurrences to Executive Housekeeper
  • communicates daily with staff about hotel and casino updates
  • rewards and recognizes superior performers
  • interviews, hires, and retains employees
  • completes timely performance evaluations
  • conducts training, coaching, and counseling
  • enforces safety and company policies
  • maintains knowledge of industry standards
  • ensures effective internal communication
  • holds subordinates accountable
  • motivates and develops staff
  • complies with company recycling programs
  • assists with scheduling and shift management
  • handles employee relations and problem resolution effectively.
