The Warehouse Fulfillment Center Supervisor position within Staples’ supply chain network is a key leadership role focused on team management, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position operates Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm and requires an individual who can lead and motivate hourly associates to excel in productivity, accuracy, and quality standards. The supervisor is responsible for planning department activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, recommending operational improvements, and participating in hiring, training, and coaching processes. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and the supervisor must uphold rigorous safety standards and cultivate a culture of safety within their team. This role collaborates with other leadership members, working within all guidelines to drive successful outcomes for the fulfillment center.

The supervisor must demonstrate analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to leading by example with a growth mindset. Key responsibilities include managing headcount to meet departmental goals, fostering teamwork and communication across all levels, utilizing fulfillment and distribution technology effectively, and adapting quickly to safety procedures. The role requires working comfortably in varying warehouse conditions and possibly serving as a key holder responsible for opening and closing the facility. Basic English communication skills are essential.
