Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to provide 24/7 on-call support for critical activities and emergencies
- Capability to work all shifts, extended hours, and weekends as needed
- Physical ability to carry heavy items unassisted (up to 50 lbs), stand for 10-12 hours, and perform frequent bending and lifting
- Must have or obtain CA food handlers card and forklift operator certification
- High school diploma or equivalency
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Willingness to learn, train others, and innovate
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 5+ years of professional experience in facilities management, maintenance, warehouse, production, or food service operations
- 3+ years of experience leading a team or projects
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and asset management software
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, contracts, and preventative maintenance plans
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical work, food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively
Job Duties
- Lead a team of facilities technicians, HVAC techs, and maintenance personnel responsible for all food service and general facilities operations
- Develop, plan, and execute routine preventative maintenance and cleaning schedules for food services equipment and facilities
- Manage third-party service providers to ensure services meet corporate standards and contract terms
- Oversee maintenance, repair, installation, assembly, and advanced troubleshooting of food service equipment and mission support infrastructure
- Monitor and direct construction and site improvement projects ensuring work is performed correctly and on time
- Coordinate and prioritize departmental maintenance tickets, workloads, and time management
- Drive team performance through coaching, development, and training others
