Job Description

Baptist Health is the region's largest not-for-profit healthcare organization, serving the communities across Miami-Dade, Monroe, Broward, and Palm Beach counties in Florida. With a vast network that includes 12 hospitals, more than 29,000 employees, approximately 4,500 physicians, and over 200 outpatient centers, urgent care facilities, and physician practices, Baptist Health provides comprehensive and compassionate care to a diverse population. The organization is widely recognized for its internationally renowned centers of excellence in cancer treatment, cardiovascular care, orthopedics and sports medicine, and neurosciences. Rooted in a faith-based mission dedicated to medical excellence, Baptist Health also benefits greatly from philanthropy, enhancing its ability to offer top-tier services and advanced treatments.

For 26 years, Baptist Health has been consistently named one of Fortune's 100 Best Companies to Work For, which demonstrates its commitment to creating a supportive and empowering work environment. Additionally, Baptist Health was the most awarded healthcare system in South Florida in the 2025-2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospital Rankings, earning 63 high-performing honors that highlight its outstanding patient care and health outcomes.

What truly distinguishes Baptist Health is its exceptional people-focused culture. Employees at Baptist Health build personal connections beyond the typical workplace relationships, cultivating meaningful interactions with patients and their families. Many team members have lived through health challenges themselves, which fuels a strong commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. The organizational culture is deeply rooted in purpose, and every team member plays a vital role in positively impacting patient lives. The collective dedication is reflected in the organization's mantra: when it comes to caring for people, they are all in.

In addition to excellent patient care, Baptist Health is equally committed to supporting the professional and personal development of its employees. This dedication is embodied in their 'grow our own' philosophy, creating clear career pathways and nurturing long-term career growth. The organization offers a wide range of benefits designed to improve employee well-being, such as comprehensive health and wellness resources that go beyond traditional benefits, including a wellness program aimed at helping employees reduce or eliminate their medical plan deductibles, significantly lowering out-of-pocket healthcare expenses. Further support comes from tuition reimbursement opportunities, encouraging continued learning and advancement, which enable employees to expand their knowledge and expertise within their fields. These efforts demonstrate Baptist Health’s ongoing commitment to caring for their people so that they can thrive and continue making a meaningful impact every day.

The role available is that of a Dining Services Supervisor, an essential position within Baptist Health's operational framework. The supervisor is responsible for engaging, coordinating, and overseeing the activities of Dining Services employees. This includes ensuring that the food provided is safe, nutritious, and of high quality while maintaining exceptional customer service standards by actively managing and monitoring the dining environment. Responsibilities also encompass managing cash registers, preparing sales reports, and handling billing and accounts specifically related to doctors’ services. This position requires a balance of leadership, organizational skills, and a customer-centered approach to ensure all aspects of dining services run smoothly and efficiently.

This full-time role offers an estimated pay range between $21.88 and $27.78 per hour, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
