As a company, MTC values professionalism, dedication, and compassionate service to the community, creating a supportive environment where both employees and students thrive.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the Food Services Manager will directly supervise the senior cooks, cooks, cook helpers, and student interns involved in work-based learning programs. The position requires someone who can effectively manage food preparation and service while ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies. The Food Services Manager is also responsible for overseeing quality control to stay within budget, conducting regular inspections, and fulfilling special meal orders, especially for students with specific dietary needs or allergies.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in promoting positive food experiences for the center’s students and staff. This includes maintaining a clean and safe environment that fosters learning and growth, providing nutritious and well-balanced meals, and coordinating with relevant educational programs such as the Culinary Arts CTT program. The role also involves engaging with students to assess satisfaction through surveys and participating in employability initiatives to support students' overall development. The Food Services Manager will support and enforce the Job Corps’ Zero Tolerance Policy, promote career success standards, and ensure accountability among students and staff for a safe, respectful work environment.

MTC seeks a motivated and experienced professional with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for serving youth. This position demands a balance of administrative expertise, practical food service knowledge, and a commitment to fostering growth and development in a diverse educational setting.
