Job Requirements
- Education level as stated
- commitment to certification programs
- 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Experience in food production management
- Quantity cooking skills
- Proficiency in MS Office software
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work variable shifts within the stated hours
- Ability to work onsite
- Ability to supervise and manage teams
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Service Management or Culinary Arts preferred
- Associate's degree in Food Service Management or Culinary Arts preferred
- High school diploma/GED with commitment to Certified Dietary Manager program or Associate's degree within the first year and completion within a negotiated time frame required
- Successful completion of Serve Safe certification within 90 days of hire required
- 2 years of relevant and supervising experience preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in healthcare preferred
Job Duties
- Supervises employees
- provides direction, coaches, trains, develops, and manages performance to company goals and expectations
- Responsible for the planning, preparation, and serving of all food for patients, retail venues and catering
- Monitors and enforces standards of quality, sanitation and safety
- Promotes customer service
- Demonstrates human resources management skills
- Carries out leadership and administrative responsibilities of management in an accurate, timely and results oriented manner
- Performs other duties as required
