This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Manager. The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing assigned staff within the Food and Beverage venues, ensuring that all aspects of front-of-house service meet our high standards for quality, efficiency, and customer engagement. The supervisor plays a vital role in supporting the Food and Beverage Assistant Manager by providing backup as needed, participating in planning processes, managing special projects, and recommending operational improvements to enhance the guest experience and streamline service delivery.\n\nIn this role, the supervisor ensures that all front-of-house staff report in proper uniform and are prepared to perform their duties effectively. They conduct pre-shift meetings to align the team, verify that the venue is well-equipped and adequately staffed for each shift, and constantly monitor service quality through direct observation and customer feedback. They maintain strict adherence to food preparation and presentation standards, ensuring the visual appeal, texture, color, and temperature of all dishes satisfy established criteria. This also includes overseeing portion control to manage costs effectively. The supervisor is responsible for tracking labor hours to align staffing with workload demands efficiently, thereby optimizing service capability and cost management. Furthermore, they ensure the venue is consistently maintained as an inviting and appealing environment for guests.\n\nThe Food and Beverage Supervisor actively monitors associate performance throughout shifts, providing coaching and counseling when necessary to uphold service standards. They conduct performance reviews to support employee development and contribute insights on food quality, presentation, and timeliness to the Food and Beverage Manager. Compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and directives is mandatory, as is the commitment to training and mentoring team members to develop their skills and performance. This position requires a balance of operational oversight, people management, and a passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience. Candidates should be comfortable using standard office software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as prepared to obtain the Serve Safe Manager Certification if not already certified. - Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment
