The Supervisor - Fabrication role at S&C Electric is a pivotal leadership position vital to the smooth operations and continued success of the company’s fabrication department. Operating during the 4:00 pm to 12:30 am shift, this role commands responsibilities that include managing day-to-day departmental operations encompassing welding, finishing, and other fabrication activities. The supervisor bears the accountability for ensuring that all fabricated parts meet stringent quality standards and adhere to production timelines. Leading a team of skilled team members, the supervisor promotes a professional work environment by upholding the company's core values and fostering teamwork, mentoring, and coaching to elevate employee performance and development. Key facets of the position include directing fabrication processes, ensuring appropriate training and equipment availability, managing production schedules, and maintaining Key Performance Indicators focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Quality management is emphasized as the supervisor inspects finished products and fabricated materials to enforce quality control measures and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives. The role also encompasses health and safety compliance, requiring the supervisor to promote a safety-conscious environment, investigate safety incidents, and enforce regulatory standards. Reporting duties include producing detailed production and status reports and communicating effectively with upper management and function leadership to address issues impacting production, quality, or personnel. Budgetary support constitutes another critical responsibility, assisting the department manager in expenditure reviews and budget oversight. Job Qualifications

- Strong leadership skills within a manufacturing environment

- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and presentation

Job Duties
