The Supervisor Environmental Services position is a full-time role working evening shifts, responsible for supervising the Environmental Services staff on campus and ensuring that all cleaning and sanitation duties meet or exceed organizational standards. Reporting directly to the Manager of Environmental Services, this role oversees the quality and timeliness of cleaning services while fostering a positive, cooperative work environment. The supervisor not only manages daily operational tasks such as scheduling, timecard approval, and supply ordering but also plays a critical role in training, coaching, and evaluating staff performance. As a primary backup to the Environmental Services Manager, the supervisor is proficient in guiding personnel through compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures, continuously improving service delivery through Quality Improvement initiatives. This position requires dedication to maintaining a safe hospital environment, promoting excellent customer service, and embodying the core values and vision of St. Charles Health System. The pay range for this role is $27.74 to $41.61 per hour, reflecting the importance and expertise required for this supervisory position. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, an understanding of cleaning supplies and processes, and the ability to coordinate with multiple hospital departments to sustain the highest cleanliness standards at all times.
