Job Description

Hartsfield Village is an esteemed Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) dedicated to promoting successful aging and providing a full spectrum of care services. Recognized for excellence in both skilled clinical care and customer service, Hartsfield Village offers Assisted Living, Nursing Care, and Acute Rehabilitation services. With a commitment to high medical integrity and fostering a collaborative team environment, this community has earned the reputation of being "Best in Region" multiple years consecutively. The facility prioritizes creating a welcoming, friendly, and beautiful environment for its residents and their visitors, enhancing overall quality of life. Located within Powers Health, the Rehabilitation Center at Hartsfield Village delivers comprehensive rehabilitative services alongside residential care.

We are currently seeking a Supervisor Dining Dietary to join our dedicated team in a full-time capacity, working day and evening shifts primarily from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm. This role includes occasional nights, weekends, and holiday shifts, reflecting the dynamic nature of healthcare dining services. The position offers a substantial benefits package encompassing medical, dental, vision, and prescription plan options, alongside opportunities for professional growth such as tuition reimbursement and a retirement plan with employer match. Employees also enjoy paid time off (PTO), employee wellness benefits, and a positive work environment that values achievement and teamwork.

The Supervisor Dining Dietary plays a critical leadership role within the Rehabilitation Center's dining services, overseeing front-of-house operations, tray line service, and meal delivery to residents' rooms. Reporting to the Dietary Manager and Hospitality & Nutrition Services Director/Executive Chef, this role ensures meals are served safely, accurately, and with exceptional hospitality. Supervisory responsibilities include managing dietary aides and stewards, motivating the team, and maintaining service standards tailored to meet the unique needs of a healthcare setting.

This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, skilled in fine dining service procedures, and experienced in leading teams in dining services. The incumbent must demonstrate the ability to adapt to varied duties and situations, employ strong communication and basic office skills, and possess a stable work history. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 35 pounds and push or pull a minimum of 90 pounds, reflecting the physical demands inherent in food service within a healthcare environment.

Joining Hartsfield Village means becoming part of a community that values each member’s contributions and supports professional development. This role not only influences the dining experience but also contributes to the overall well-being and satisfaction of our residents, making a significant difference every day.
