Job Requirements
- five years of relevant experience
- ability to direct daily food operations
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- leadership and team motivation skills
- food safety manager certification within 90 days of job entry
- commitment to organizational values
- excellent communication skills
Job Qualifications
- associates degree
- food safety manager certification
- bachelor degree in culinary arts preferred
- basic knowledge of dietetics
- previous supervision of 12 or more staff members
- three to five years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience preferred
- hospital, healthcare, and catering experience
Job Duties
- direct daily food production and service operations
- ensure compliance with The Joint Commission, HACCP, AHCA, and other regulations
- motivate and support the food services team
- establish and maintain operational standards
- implement quality improvements
- communicate improvements to the team
- role model the values and culture of Baptist Health South Florida
