The Catering Supervisor role at Guest Services, Inc. plays a critical part in maintaining the high standard of hospitality the company is known for. This position involves overseeing the Catering Attendants to ensure that every catered function is professionally set up, managed, and broken down with seamless coordination. Acting as the first point of contact for clients and customers during catered events, the Catering Supervisor must demonstrate exceptional professionalism and urgency in resolving any concerns or issues that arise. The role requires excellent leadership skills to monitor and direct staff activities, including recruitment and training, under the guidance of the Catering Manager.

Beyond managing staff, the Catering Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient environment in the catering unit. This includes ensuring adherence to sanitation standards, food handling protocols, housekeeping, and employee hygiene. The supervisor also plays a pivotal role in safety awareness, promptly communicating any incidents or concerns to management. Physically demanding, the job entails frequent movement, lifting, and standing throughout the workday, encompassing exposure to varying temperatures in different work areas such as freezers and grills.
