Among its premier operations is the management of food and beverage services at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Since its opening in 2016, Delaware North has been instrumental in providing premium dining and concession services within this 41,500-seat venue, ensuring visitors enjoy world-class hospitality during every game and event.

Within this vibrant, exciting environment, Delaware North Sportservice is seeking a seasonal Supervisor to join the Pen Lounge team at Truist Park. The Pen Lounge is the newest premium club located in right field directly above the bullpen, designed to offer guests a unique and upscale experience during baseball games and events. As a Pen Lounge Supervisor, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of this exclusive club, working under the direction of the department manager to oversee all aspects of club operations.

This seasonal role runs from March through October, aligned with the baseball season and potential playoff schedules. It is ideally suited for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and have a passion for the hospitality industry. The Pen Lounge Supervisor will be responsible for leading and training team members, ensuring exceptional service standards, and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and company policies. This role also involves scheduling front-of-house staff, managing inventory and cost estimates for food and beverages, and ensuring responsible alcohol service.

In this role, the Supervisor will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall guest experience by overseeing event setups, conducting thorough walk-throughs to address any issues, and maintaining high standards in food presentation and displays. The supervisor will also ensure that all team members adhere to company policies, especially concerning alcohol service and health and safety regulations, guaranteeing a safe and enjoyable environment for guests both during regular games and special events.

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of two years of hospitality experience in high-volume dining settings, with strong knowledge of food, wine, and spirits considered a plus. Basic understanding of cost control measures along with profit and loss management is desired to support operational efficiency. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. No college degree is necessary, emphasizing the company’s focus on practical experience and skills.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of previous hospitality and high-volume dining experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to problem-solve and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Standing and walking for the entire length of the shift
  • No college degree required

Job Duties

  • Oversee inventory and estimates of food and beverage costs
  • Schedule all front-of-house team members for events
  • Assist with the hiring, training, and development of team members
  • Ensure associates properly set up events for guests
  • conduct walk-throughs to check for any issues
  • Ensure all food presentations and displays meet company standards
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service and report any violations, and that staff are adhering to company alcohol policies
  • Inspect areas to ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to
