Job Description
The Parking Spot, established over 25 years ago, has earned its reputation as the largest near-airport parking company in the United States. With a proud history spanning more than two decades, The Parking Spot operates across more than 40 locations nationwide, providing top-tier parking services to millions of travelers each year. The company employs over 2,000 team members who are integral to its continued success and commitment to exceptional guest service. One of the standout features of The Parking Spot is its Employee Ownership Program, which gives every team member a direct financial stake in the company’s performance and success, fostering a strong culture of shared responsibility and pride.
At The Parking Spot, the role of a Supervisor is essential to the smooth and efficient operation of the parking facilities. Supervisors play a pivotal role in supporting the management team in meeting operational goals while ensuring the highest standards of service and safety for both guests and team members. This full-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $22 per hour, accompanied by regular bonus opportunities, making it attractive for candidates seeking both stability and rewards based on performance. Supervisors are entrusted with a variety of critical responsibilities that require leadership, organizational skills, and a dedication to customer service.
The Supervisor at The Parking Spot is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the team, including monitoring the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, ensuring the safety of vehicles and pedestrians, and auditing the work of Parking Guest Attendants and Shuttle Drivers to maintain operational excellence. The role demands flexibility, as supervisors must be prepared to quickly fill shifts themselves or coordinate coverage by contacting employees as needed. Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, particularly those governing commercial vehicle operation, is a fundamental aspect of the position.
Beyond operational oversight, Supervisors frequently perform frontline duties, such as acting as Parking Guest Attendants or Shuttle Drivers when necessary, demonstrating a hands-on approach to leadership. The company values candidates who show strong communication skills, the ability to lead and motivate a team, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests and employees alike. The Parking Spot also offers opportunities for professional development and training, ensuring supervisors can grow their skills and advance within the organization.
The company embraces diversity and inclusion, fostering a workplace where differences are celebrated and all voices are valued. The Parking Spot is committed to creating a respectful, supportive, and equitable environment for employees, partners, and customers. This dedication to inclusivity enriches the company culture and reinforces its position as a leader in the travel industry. Candidates who share these values and are passionate about providing outstanding service are encouraged to apply for the Supervisor position and become part of a dynamic, employee-owned company that values every team member's contribution.
