Job Description
Lucky Strike Entertainment is a leading name in the location-based entertainment industry, recognized for its vast network of upscale and traditional Bowling Centers, expansive Waterparks, a renowned Amusement Park in California, and multiple Boomers Family Entertainment Centers located in major markets. Founded in 1997 with a single bowling center, it has dramatically evolved into a powerhouse company boasting 360 bowling centers and employing 14,000 associates with nearly $1.4 billion in annual revenue. The foundation of Lucky Strike’s success lies in its commitment to hospitality, aiming to provide memorable experiences for every guest on every visit. This commitment is reflected in its dynamic and energetic work culture that values teamwork, passion, and growth opportunity.
The role of Supervisor at Lucky Strike Entertainment is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of guest experiences that define the brand. As a Supervisor, you will be expected to lead the floor during every shift, ensuring that operations across all zones—including bowling, arcade, food and beverage, bar, and events—run seamlessly to keep guests engaged and satisfied. This position is not just about managing; it’s about being hands-on and present on the floor, stepping into any role necessary to maintain service standards and operational efficiency.
Supervisors at Lucky Strike are also tasked with coaching and developing hourly team members, emphasizing safety, service quality, and adherence to company policies. The role requires a natural leader who can inspire and motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Beyond leadership, the Supervisor is integral to driving sales through guest engagement, supporting promotional events, and ensuring the facility is always ready for optimum operations—this includes monitoring lane conditions, arcade functionality, and back-of-house operations.
In addition to floor supervision, this role involves fundamental operational responsibilities such as cash handling, inventory counts, and labor tracking, fostering essential financial acumen. The role demands flexibility and stamina, including the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift weights between 25 to 50 pounds. Ideal candidates will have a background in hospitality, food and beverage, retail, or other guest-facing roles, and exhibit strong communication skills to effectively resolve guest concerns while maintaining a positive environment.
Lucky Strike offers its Supervisors a competitive hourly pay rate between $23 and $25, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, wellness resources, 401(k) retirement plans, an employee stock purchase program, employee assistance programs, paid vacation and holidays, and exciting perks such as discounts on bowling, Boomer’s, Waterparks, retail, and events. The company prides itself on fostering a work environment where talented and committed managers are rewarded with abundant growth opportunities and a chance to be part of a passionate, winning team dedicated to redefining entertainment hospitality.
