Job Description

The Parking Spot is a leading company in the near-airport parking industry, boasting a rich history that spans over 25 years. With a strong presence across the United States, it has grown to become the largest near-airport parking company, employing over 2,000 dedicated team members at more than 40 locations nationwide. The company prides itself on its commitment to employee ownership, offering a unique Employee Ownership Program that allows every team member to gain a direct financial stake in the company’s ongoing success. This model fosters a culture where each employee feels personally invested in delivering exceptional service and maintaining the company’s reputation across all operations.

As a full-time supervisor working afternoon and evening shifts including weekends, you will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations and management of The Parking Spot’s facilities. This role is designed for individuals who value teamwork, excellent customer service, and leadership. The Supervisor acts as a key liaison between the management team, employees, and guests, ensuring that all operational needs are met smoothly and efficiently. The compensation for this role is set at $20 per hour, with regular bonus opportunities that reward outstanding performance and commitment.

The supervisor’s responsibilities are both diverse and integral. You will be ensuring employees are performing their duties according to company standards, monitoring the safety and cleanliness of the parking facilities, and maintaining the security of vehicles, guests, and staff. Additionally, supervisors are responsible for handling incidents such as vehicle accidents or employee injuries, reporting these promptly to management. Your role will also involve auditing the daily work of Parking Guest Attendants and Shuttle Drivers to ensure quality and compliance.

Flexibility and leadership are key traits required for this position as supervisors must be prepared to step in for frontline roles, such as Shuttle Driver or Parking Guest Attendant, especially during shift coverage needs. The supervisor also must maintain compliance with all regulatory standards governing commercial vehicle operations, including holding necessary licenses and badges.

The Parking Spot values its employees and backs this with comprehensive benefits for eligible team members, including medical, vision, dental coverage, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, vacation pay, and paid holidays. Training and professional development opportunities are also an important part of the role, supporting career growth within the company.

If you are at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent (with some college preferred), and have supervisory experience along with a clean driving record, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to lead in a dynamic environment. You will be expected to pass a physical exam in compliance with airport, DOT, and state requirements and demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word is preferred to assist with administrative duties.

The Parking Spot actively promotes diversity and inclusivity as core company values. The company is dedicated to creating an environment where all employees, partners, and customers feel welcome, supported, and valued. With a strong stance against racism and discrimination, The Parking Spot continuously works towards fostering equal opportunities and encouraging diverse voices within its teams. Joining The Parking Spot means becoming part of a culture that celebrates differences and commits to continuous growth and learning.
