Job Description

The Parking Spot, established over 25 years ago, has become the largest near-airport parking company in the United States. With more than 2,000 dedicated team members operating across 40 locations nationwide, the company prides itself on delivering exceptional service to travelers by providing convenient and reliable parking solutions close to major airports. A distinguishing feature of The Parking Spot is its Employee Ownership Program, which offers every team member the opportunity to gain a financial stake in the company’s success. This ownership model fosters a strong sense of community, accountability, and shared purpose among employees, enhancing the quality of service and operational efficiency.

The role of Supervisor at The Parking Spot is integral to the ongoing success and smooth operation of their parking facilities. This full-time position, available across all shifts, involves supporting management staff in addressing both operational needs and employee or guest concerns. Supervisors ensure that employees perform their duties effectively, maintain the cleanliness and safety of the facility, and uphold the highest standards of customer service. With a competitive pay rate of $18 per hour complemented by regular bonus opportunities, this role is designed for proactive individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and are committed to leadership and team development.

Supervisors play a versatile and hands-on role, often stepping into frontline positions such as Parking Guest Attendant or Shuttle Driver, highlighting the company’s collaborative and flexible work culture. They are responsible for monitoring the safety of vehicles, customers, and employees, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Supervisors also conduct audits of daily work to maintain quality control, assist with scheduling challenges, and respond to unforeseen operational needs by filling or covering shifts themselves when necessary.

This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and leadership qualities to motivate and guide team members. Additionally, supervisors must have the capability to read and interpret highway signs and traffic regulations, comply with all applicable commercial vehicle operation requirements, and demonstrate an understanding of employee and customer service priorities. The Parking Spot values diversity and inclusion, creating a workplace where all employees feel respected and empowered. Through its commitment to equity and continuous improvement, the company provides an inspiring and supportive environment for career growth and professional development for supervisors and team members alike.
