The Restaurant Supervisor role is a pivotal position at these independently owned Boston's locations. Reporting directly to the Front of House Manager, Kitchen Manager, or General Manager, the Supervisor plays a crucial role in training and developing the front-of-house team including servers, hosts, and bartenders. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring superior guest service and seamless restaurant operations. They are accountable for meeting and exceeding budgeted financial goals, including managing labor costs and enhancing guest satisfaction metrics.

This role requires a proactive leader who can maintain a perfectly clean, sanitary, and inviting environment. The Restaurant Supervisor leads by example in cultivating a positive and fun restaurant culture that encourages teamwork and excellence. Key responsibilities include managing a guest-focused experience, ensuring only the highest quality of food and drinks are served, and executing staffing and production plans. The Supervisor also ensures strict adherence to operational health and safety standards, responsible alcohol service guidelines, and security protocols that protect guests, employees, and the facility.

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of progressive management experience in a full-service restaurant with bar
  • knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel) and Point of Sale system
  • must be able to work flexible hours during, evening, weekends, and holidays
  • must be eligible to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage a positive and fun restaurant culture
  • increase sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution
  • perform opening and closing duties as scheduled and directed
  • lead, manage, and deliver a friendly guest focused experience
  • ensure only perfectly prepared and plated food and drink are served to each guest
  • execute staffing plan and production plan according to the guidance of the GM/KM
  • ensure operational and occupational health and safety standards are in place and followed
  • always ensures responsible selling and service of alcohol as mandated by the respected licensing authorities, Serve Safe Alcohol training, and Bostons Pizza training guidelines
  • maintains appropriate security protocols for guest, employee, and restaurant safety
  • accurately account for cash tips, safe counts, till management
  • other duties as required
