The role of Supervisor is essential to the operational success of The Parking Spot. Supervisors support management in meeting the needs of the operation and are responsible for addressing both employee and guest needs promptly and effectively. This full-time evening and overnight position offers a competitive pay rate of $17 per hour plus regular bonus opportunities. Supervisors are vital in maintaining the quality and safety standards the company is known for.

Supervisors at The Parking Spot ensure that employees perform their duties properly, maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility, and monitor the safety of vehicles, customers, and staff. They are responsible for reporting any vehicle accidents or employee injuries to management and auditing the daily work of Parking Guest Attendants and Shuttle Drivers. Additionally, supervisors must be proactive in contacting employees to fill shifts or personally covering shifts when necessary. They are also required to comply with all regulations related to the operation of commercial vehicles and perform frontline roles such as Parking Guest Attendant or Shuttle Driver when requested by management.

The role includes additional responsibilities such as helping other departments as needed, demonstrating leadership, and taking part in ongoing training and professional development. Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Some supervisory experience preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must hold and maintain a satisfactory driving record
  • Must hold applicable licenses or badges for commercial vehicles
  • Must be willing to pass a physical as required by regulations
  • Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Some college is preferred
  • Some supervisory experience preferred
  • Currently holds and is able to maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Employee Handbook
  • Currently holds all applicable licenses or badges as required by governing authorities to operate a commercial vehicle
  • Must be willing to pass a physical as part of the selection process as required by airport, federal DOT and/or state regulations
  • Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Demonstrates leadership, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word is preferred

Job Duties

  • Ensure employees perform their duties as required
  • Monitor the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility
  • Monitor the safety of vehicles, customers, and employees
  • Report any vehicle accidents or employee injuries to management
  • Audit daily work of Parking Guest Attendants and Shuttle Drivers
  • Must be able to contact employees to fill shifts or personally cover a shift as needed
  • Comply with all regulations and requirements governing operation of commercial vehicles
  • Perform frontline positions such as Parking Guest Attendant, Shuttle Driver, and others as requested by Management
  • Perform additional duties and assists in other departments as reasonably requested by Management
