Superica Nashville is currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Sous Chef to join their back-of-house team and support their dynamic kitchen operations.
The Sous Chef role at Superica Nashville is critical in ensuring a smooth culinary operation by managing hourly kitchen staff and overseeing essential functions such as food production, preparation, stewarding, purchasing, and receiving. This position requires a hands-on leader who can not only maintain quality and consistency in the kitchen by training line cooks on proper ingredient handling and recipe adherence, but also step in as the acting head of the kitchen in the Executive Chef’s absence. The ideal candidate brings at least three years of progressive culinary experience, including time in a lead cook or Sous Chef capacity, and possesses the natural leadership skills needed to inspire and maintain team cohesion while managing the fast-paced and often high-pressure environment of a busy kitchen.
In this role, the Sous Chef will proactively address challenges, solve problems positively, and help maintain the operational standards that make Superica a beloved dining destination.
