This ethic fosters a warm and inclusive environment where dignity, respect, and care form the foundation of every interaction in the kitchen and beyond. Rocket Farm Restaurants operates multiple vibrant venues, each with its unique style and cuisine, all dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences. With locations spanning Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Houston, Raleigh, and Winter Park, they are a growing presence in the restaurant industry and a sought-after employer for culinary professionals looking to advance their careers in an ethical and nurturing environment.
Superica Dunwoody, a part of Rocket Farm Restaurants, is a lively Tex-Mex eatery celebrated for its flavorful cuisine and laid-back Old West-inspired atmosphere. It's the ideal spot for enjoying brunch, lunch, dinner, and refreshing margaritas, embodying the spirit and traditions of Tex-Mex culture. The restaurant attracts a diverse clientele ranging from families to groups of friends eager to indulge in authentic dishes and a vibrant social setting.
The role of Sous Chef at Superica Dunwoody is a pivotal position within the kitchen team. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, the Sous Chef will oversee the hourly and back-of-house staff and assist with the daily operations across all kitchen departments, including production, prep, stewarding, purchasing, and receiving. This position demands a combination of culinary expertise, leadership ability, and operational savvy to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
The Sous Chef will be instrumental in training line cooks, ensuring every dish is prepared according to established recipes to maintain consistency in taste and presentation. Leadership extends beyond instruction; the Sous Chef must be proactive and resourceful, able to manage obstacles and resolve issues calmly while maintaining a positive work environment. In the absence of the Executive Chef, the Sous Chef will take charge of the kitchen, making critical decisions to uphold operational standards.
Ideal candidates will possess at least three years of progressive culinary experience, with at least one year in a leadership role such as Lead Cook or Sous Chef. This role is perfect for a natural leader passionate about mentoring others, maintaining high standards, and contributing to a cohesive and motivated team. Rocket Farm Restaurants values innovative and heartfelt individuals who are eager to grow within a supportive and dynamic organizational culture.
Employment for this role is full-time, with a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $70,000 annually, depending on experience. Employees are also eligible for a generous quarterly bonus program. Full benefit eligibility begins after 30 days of employment, including major medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.
Working at Rocket Farm Restaurants means becoming part of a company that prioritizes its employees' well-being and growth. The company offers a supportive workplace culture grounded in ethics and respect, dynamic performance-based raises and promotions, paid time off including childbirth recovery and parental leave, and significant long-term retention bonuses. Employees receive time off on major holidays and enjoy substantial discounts across all Rocket Farm Restaurant locations. Moreover, specialized leadership training and personalized career advancement support are available through Rocket Farm University. The company encourages engagement through employee-led mentorship programs, advisory councils, and safety committees, fostering a collaborative and empowering workplace.
