Job Description

Rocket Farm Restaurants is a renowned hospitality group known for fostering a culture centered around mutual respect, dignity, and care among its employees. At the heart of their philosophy is the belief that "We serve the person who is serving the guest," emphasizing the importance of supporting each other inside the kitchen just as attentively as serving guests in the dining area. This philosophy creates a positive, team-oriented environment that translates into exceptional guest experiences. Rocket Farm Restaurants has a growing portfolio that spans multiple cities including Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Houston, Raleigh, and Winter Park, offering a diverse range of dining experiences while maintaining high standards of service and culture.

Superica, one of the vibrant restaurants in the Rocket Farm family, brings a sunny, upbeat atmosphere to Charlotte's Strawberry Hill neighborhood. Known for its Old-West inspired decor and laid-back vibe, Superica specializes in authentic Tex-Mex cuisine. The restaurant serves brunch, lunch, and dinner, featuring a menu full of traditional regional American dishes paired with some of the city’s best margaritas. The environment supports a fun and dynamic work setting where employees are encouraged to embody the Texan spirit through their service and guest relations.

The Server position at Superica is a pivotal role within the operation that invites experienced hospitality professionals who are energetic, engaging, and passionate about delivering top-notch service. Servers at Superica act as ambassadors of the restaurant's Tex-Mex spirit, responsible for guiding guests through the menu with enthusiasm and expertise. This includes educating patrons on the unique aspects of Tex-Mex cuisine, recommending dishes and drinks, and ensuring that every guest has a memorable and satisfying dining experience. The role demands professionalism, a proactive approach to guest satisfaction, and the ability to handle potential issues with tact and promptness.

Rocket Farm Restaurants offers competitive pay for this role, ranging from $2.13 to $8.00 per hour plus tips, commensurate with the candidate’s experience and ability. Beyond competitive compensation, the company provides a supportive and ethical workplace culture. Employees benefit from opportunities for growth including performance-based raises and promotions. The company acknowledges the importance of work-life balance by offering time off on most major holidays and dining discounts across all its restaurant locations. Employees also have access to Rocket Farm University, which offers leadership training and personalized career advancement support, as well as mentorship programs and a Safety Committee which exemplify the company's commitment to employee development and well-being.

After one year of employment, employees become eligible for additional benefits such as paid time off, childbirth recovery leave, parental leave, and comprehensive major medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans. Rocket Farm Restaurants prides itself on being an Equal Opportunity Employer that complies with all federal employment laws, and encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply. A unique opportunity waits for passionate servers who want to grow within a reputable restaurant group that values people first and foremost.
