Job Description

Rocket Farm Restaurants is a renowned hospitality group dedicated to creating exceptional dining experiences while nurturing a supportive and respectful workplace for its employees. Rooted in the philosophy, "We serve the person who is serving the guest," the company emphasizes a culture of dignity, respect, and care that starts within its team environment, especially in the kitchen. This deeply ingrained culture ensures that the way team members treat and serve each other reflects the same kindness and professionalism extended to guests, promoting harmony and high standards of service throughout the organization. Rocket Farm Restaurants operates a collection of dynamic eateries that are known for their innovative concepts and heartfelt service across multiple cities including Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Houston, Raleigh, and Winter Park. One of its flagship establishments, Superica Strawberry Hill, brings a unique Old-West inspired Tex-Mex culinary experience to the Queen City’s Strawberry Hill neighborhood. The restaurant is known for its upbeat yet relaxed vibe, serving exceptional brunch, lunch, dinner, and offering some of the city’s best margaritas, making it a standout destination for both locals and visitors alike.

The General Manager role at Superica Strawberry Hill is a vital leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations. This position demands an experienced and dynamic individual capable of guiding the entire team with openness, positivity, and approachability. The General Manager is entrusted with managing seating, menu adjustments, and maintaining a smoothly functioning dining environment. Leading the hiring, training, and development initiatives, this leader plays a pivotal role in shaping a motivated and high-performing staff. Monitoring service quality and team performance relentlessly, the General Manager anticipates the needs of guests to ensure a memorable dining experience that aligns with the brand’s high standards. Daily leadership meetings foster communication and collaboration, reinforcing an educational and positive work atmosphere. Experienced candidates with at least 10 years of progressive restaurant experience, including five years in a senior management capacity, will find this position rewarding and aligned with their career growth. With a competitive salary range from $85,000 to $120,000 annually depending on experience, plus a generous quarterly bonus program, this opportunity offers strong financial incentives aligned with performance and contribution.

As a full-time member of the Rocket Farm Restaurants team, the General Manager gains full benefit eligibility just 30 days after employment begins. Benefits include major medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage. The company further supports its employees with paid time off, childbirth recovery leave, parental leave, and time off on major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day, fostering a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, employees enjoy a 50 percent discount at all Rocket Farm Restaurants locations nationwide, an attractive perk for those who appreciate the brand's culinary excellence. Rocket Farm Restaurants also invests in the professional development of its team through Rocket Farm University, which offers specialized leadership training and personalized career support. Employee empowerment is further enhanced by mentorship programs, advisory councils, and safety committees, underscoring the organization’s commitment to ethical leadership and workplace safety.
