Job Description

Rocket Farm Restaurants is a respected restaurant group known for fostering an exceptional work culture that places a high value on mutual respect and care among team members. The core philosophy of the company is, "We serve the person who is serving the guest," emphasizing that the way employees treat and support one another within the kitchen and behind the scenes is just as important as how guests are treated on the floor. This ethos reflects Rocket Farm's commitment to dignity, respect, and compassion throughout every layer of its operations, creating a nurturing and collaborative environment. Their restaurants are more than just dining establishments; they aim to cultivate a workplace where every team member feels valued and empowered to excel.

One of the flagship restaurants under Rocket Farm Restaurants is Superica, located in the vibrant Strawberry Hill neighborhood of Queen City. Superica boasts a unique blend of Old-West inspired aesthetics with a relaxed yet upbeat ambiance, distinguished by its Tex-Mex cuisine. It offers a comprehensive menu available throughout the day, including brunch, lunch, and dinner, accompanied by some of the city’s best margaritas. Superica serves as a community gathering spot where tastes from the Southwest are celebrated with an inviting atmosphere that caters to both casual diners and those seeking a lively dining experience.

Superica Strawberry Hill is currently seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and inspire their team. This leadership role is vital in upholding the high standards of service and hospitality that Rocket Farm Restaurants are known for. The General Manager will oversee all facets of restaurant operations, ensuring smooth daily functioning by directing the team in an open, positive, and approachable manner. The role involves comprehensive management responsibilities including seating control, menu updates, and strategic staffing—hiring, training, and developing personnel to drive performance and maintain a dedicated, knowledgeable workforce.

The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of progressive restaurant industry experience, with a minimum of five years in senior management roles. This experienced General Manager will be expected to anticipate guests’ needs proactively and foster total guest satisfaction by monitoring the service and performance quality consistently. Part of the role includes conducting daily team meetings to reinforce a positive, educational work environment where continuous improvement and learning are encouraged.

In return, Rocket Farm Restaurants offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience, along with a generous quarterly bonus program. The company provides full benefit eligibility after just 30 days of employment, including major medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Furthermore, being part of the Rocket Farm team means joining a supportive and ethical work culture that values career growth through dynamic performance-based raises and promotions.

Employees enjoy paid time off alongside childbirth recovery and parental leave, supporting a healthy balance between work and personal life. Long-term retention bonuses offer additional financial incentives, and time off is granted on most major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Team members also receive a 50 percent discount at all Rocket Farm Restaurant locations, which span several cities including Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Houston, Raleigh, and Winter Park.

Rocket Farm Restaurants invest deeply in employee development through Rocket Farm University, which provides specialized leadership classes and personalized career advancement support. The company also encourages engagement via employee-led mentorship programs, an Advisory Council, and a Safety Committee, reflecting a comprehensive commitment to workplace well-being and professional growth.

This opportunity at Superica Strawberry Hill represents not just a job, but a chance to join a dynamic, innovative, and heartfelt group of individuals dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences while fostering a rewarding and respectful workplace environment. Rocket Farm Restaurants is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to fairness and inclusivity in their hiring practices.
