Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years of culinary experience
  • at least two years in a Sous Chef capacity
  • ability to work under pressure
  • strong leadership skills
  • experience with budgeting and labor management
  • excellent communication skills
  • availability to work in Charlotte, NC

  • Five years of progressive culinary experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including production and preparation
  • manage private parties and special events
  • supervise stewarding, purchasing, and receiving processes
  • ensure culinary staff creates menu items to the highest standards
  • lead and support kitchen staff in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • manage culinary budget and monitor labor, scheduling, and overtime for productivity
  • maintain a cohesive and professional kitchen environment
