Job Requirements

  • Relevant culinary education or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years of progressive culinary experience
  • At least two years in a Sous Chef role
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to maintaining high culinary standards
  • Legal authorization to work in the country

Job Qualifications

  • Five years of progressive culinary experience
  • Two years of experience in a Sous Chef capacity
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Experience managing culinary budgets and labor
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including production, prep, private parties and special events
  • Manage stewarding, purchasing and receiving processes
  • Ensure culinary staff create menu items to the highest standards
  • Lead the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Work calmly under pressure and maintain cohesive team dynamics
  • Manage culinary budgets and monitor labor, scheduling, and overtime
  • Ensure maximum productivity and guest satisfaction
