Job Description

Rocket Farm Restaurants is a dynamic and innovative hospitality company committed to creating an exceptional restaurant culture based on mutual respect, dignity, and care. At the heart of their philosophy is the belief that excellent service begins within, supporting and serving the team members who are serving the guests. This core value is not merely performed on the restaurant floor; it is deeply ingrained in every interaction within the kitchen and throughout the company. Rocket Farm Restaurants prides itself on fostering an ethical, supportive work environment where employees are treated with the respect they deserve, mirroring the way the guests are served in the dining room. Their family of restaurants spans various cities, cultivating not only exceptional dining experiences but also exceptional careers for those who join their team.

Superica Dunwoody, one of the notable establishments within the Rocket Farm Restaurant family, offers a vibrant, Old West-inspired setting where Tex-Mex cuisine shines. Known for its lively atmosphere and authentic offerings, Superica Dunwoody serves as the quintessential destination to enjoy brunch, lunch, dinner, and refreshing margaritas. Tex-Mex at Superica isn’t just food—it’s a lifestyle that invites friends and families to come together and celebrate life’s moments.

Currently, Superica Dunwoody is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Executive Chef to lead their culinary team. This role is essential for bringing the restaurant’s vision to life daily by overseeing all kitchen operations and ensuring that every dish meets the highest standards of quality and presentation. The Executive Chef is responsible for managing the entire culinary staff, including production, preparation, catering to special events, and maintaining effective purchasing and receiving procedures. A key part of the role involves reviewing guest feedback regularly to ensure a guest-centric approach remains central to kitchen operations.

The Executive Chef at Superica Dunwoody is not only a leader but an educator, tasked with overseeing the execution of recipes and training both culinary and service staff. They are expected to champion efficiency and productivity across all kitchen activities while maintaining budget targets, especially concerning food costs. The role also demands fostering an educational environment that encourages professional growth and development among culinary team members. This position requires a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on management, including direct involvement in plating and food production from the pass during service hours.

Candidates should bring at least 10 years of progressive culinary experience, with a minimum of five years in senior management positions, to effectively manage the fast-paced and high-standard environment at Superica Dunwoody. The company offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a generous quarterly bonus program, underscoring the company’s commitment to rewarding excellence.

Benefits include full eligibility after just 30 days of employment, covering major medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Employees are valued beyond benefits, enjoying a supportive culture that promotes ethical work practices and dynamic career advancement through performance-based raises and promotions. Comprehensive paid time off, childbirth recovery and parental leave policies ensure a healthy work-life balance. Additional perks include significant long-term retention bonuses, time off during major holidays, and a 50 percent discount across all Rocket Farm Restaurants located in major cities such as Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Houston, Raleigh, and Winter Park.

Rocket Farm also invests heavily in employee growth through Rocket Farm University, offering specialized leadership classes and personalized support for career advancement. Employees benefit from mentorship programs, advisory councils, and safety committees that foster a collaborative and secure workplace. Superica Dunwoody and Rocket Farm Restaurants are equal opportunity employers committed to diversity and compliance with federal employment laws, making this an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals who want to work within a trusted, innovative, and people-centered company.
