Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
- proven experience in a senior culinary management position
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent leadership capabilities
- strong problem-solving skills
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- valid food safety certification
- ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Job Qualifications
- minimum 10 years of progressive culinary experience
- at least 5 years in senior management roles
- strong leadership and team management skills
- expertise in kitchen operations and menu execution
- ability to train and mentor staff effectively
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- proficiency in managing food cost and budgets
- commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- lead the entire culinary team and manage day-to-day kitchen operations including production and prep
- oversee special events catering and manage purchasing and receiving
- ensure recipe execution and provide education to culinary and service staff
- review and evaluate daily guest feedback to maintain high satisfaction
- direct food production and plating during service
- train and develop line cooks efficiently
- manage food costs to meet or exceed budgeted targets
- foster an educational environment for culinary staff development
