Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
  • proven experience in a senior culinary management position
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent leadership capabilities
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • valid food safety certification
  • ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 10 years of progressive culinary experience
  • at least 5 years in senior management roles
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • expertise in kitchen operations and menu execution
  • ability to train and mentor staff effectively
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • proficiency in managing food cost and budgets
  • commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and guest satisfaction

Job Duties

  • lead the entire culinary team and manage day-to-day kitchen operations including production and prep
  • oversee special events catering and manage purchasing and receiving
  • ensure recipe execution and provide education to culinary and service staff
  • review and evaluate daily guest feedback to maintain high satisfaction
  • direct food production and plating during service
  • train and develop line cooks efficiently
  • manage food costs to meet or exceed budgeted targets
  • foster an educational environment for culinary staff development
