Job Description

Superica is a renowned restaurant that embodies a philosophy centered around mutual respect and care within its team. This unique approach is rooted in the belief that the way team members treat and support each other behind the scenes is just as important as how they serve their guests in the dining area. Superica prides itself on fostering a culture of dignity, respect, and care starting in the kitchen. This ethos creates a workplace environment where collaboration and support are paramount, ensuring that the staff is well-prepared to deliver exceptional guest experiences consistently.

Superica is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Executive Chef to lead its culinary team. The ideal candidate will be a decisive leader responsible for managing all kitchen operations. This leadership role involves overseeing food production and preparation, managing special events, and handling purchasing and receiving processes in the kitchen. The Executive Chef ensures that all culinary staff execute recipes accurately and adhere to the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This role requires a hands-on leader who can train line cooks efficiently, manage food costs to meet budgets, and foster an educational environment where culinary staff can grow and advance their careers.

This position offers a competitive salary range between $85,000 and $120,000 annually, depending on experience, complemented by a generous quarterly bonus program. Full benefits become available after 30 days of employment, including major medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.

Joining Superica means becoming part of a dynamic, innovative, and heartfelt group dedicated to excellence in culinary arts and hospitality. The Executive Chef role goes beyond cooking; it is about inspiring and developing the team, reviewing guest feedback to continuously enhance service, and directing kitchen operations with precision and care. Applicants should bring a minimum of 10 years of progressive culinary experience, including at least five years in senior management positions, demonstrating their capability to lead and transform a culinary team effectively.

The role at Superica is not just a job but a commitment to a supportive culture and ethical work environment. Employees benefit from dynamic, performance-based raises and promotions and a well-rounded package supporting work-life balance that includes paid time off, childbirth recovery leave, parental leave, and significant long-term retention bonuses. Time off on most major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day further contributes to this supportive framework.

In addition, team members enjoy exclusive benefits such as a 50% discount at Rocket Farm Restaurants across several cities including Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Houston, Raleigh, and Winter Park. Superica promotes continuous professional development through Rocket Farm University, which offers specialized leadership classes and personalized career advancement support. Employees are also encouraged to participate in mentorship programs, advisory councils, and safety committees, reinforcing the restaurant's commitment to employee growth and safety.

This position offers not only a rewarding career opportunity but also a chance to work within a company that values mutual respect and teamwork as the foundation of excellent guest service. Superica is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to informing applicants about their rights under federal employment laws.
