Job Description
Rocket Farm Restaurants is a well-established restaurant group known for its commitment to creating an exceptional and supportive work culture. The core philosophy at Rocket Farm is "We serve the person who is serving the guest," emphasizing respect, dignity, and care among team members, which naturally extends to the guest experience. This approach has cultivated a welcoming and ethical work environment where team members are valued and empowered. Among its diverse portfolio, Superica in the Queen City's Strawberry Hill neighborhood stands out with its Old-West inspired, relaxed yet lively atmosphere. The restaurant specializes in Tex-Mex cuisine served throughout the day, accompanied by some of the city's best margaritas, making it a vibrant dining destination.
Superica Strawberry Hill is currently seeking a Cook who is passionate about culinary excellence and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a keen eye for detail in using precise culinary techniques and exact measurements to ensure consistent, high-quality food preparation. The Cook will be responsible for maintaining recipe integrity, kitchen cleanliness, and adhering to safety standards. Working effectively as a team member and following management directives are critical for success in this role. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $16 to $24 per hour, depending on experience and ability.
Joining Superica means becoming part of the Rocket Farm family, where employees enjoy a supportive culture with dynamic performance-based raises and promotions. Team members have time off on most major holidays and enjoy dining discounts across all Rocket Farm Restaurants located in various cities including Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Houston, Raleigh, and Winter Park. Rocket Farm University provides specialized leadership training and personalized career advancement support. Additionally, employees can participate in mentorship programs, advisory councils, and safety committees, all aimed at professional growth and workplace safety.
After one year of employment, staff become eligible for enhanced benefits, including paid time off, childbirth recovery leave, parental leave, major medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Rocket Farm Restaurants is committed to equal employment opportunities and compliance with federal employment laws, ensuring a fair and inclusive workplace for all employees. Prospective candidates are encouraged to apply online and visit the weekly Open House events to meet the team and learn more about opportunities at Superica. This role is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who value teamwork, quality, and a positive work culture, looking to grow their culinary career in a respected and innovative restaurant group.
